Army chief confirms death sentence for 12 terrorists

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday confirmed death sentence for 12 hardcore terrorists.

According to the ISPR, the terrorists were involved in the killing of innocent civilians and attacks on armed forces.

“These terrorists also include those who planned and executed the attack on Markazi Imam Bargah Parachinar,” the ISPR said, adding that the convicts were tried by special military courts.

The convicts are Ashiq Khan, Rasheed, Meraj, Muhammad Rasool, Jannat Karim, Abu Bakar, Anwar Khan, Ghulam Habib, Abdul Ghafoor, Rawaz Khan, Mubarik Zeb and Ayub Khan.
