31 killed in Quetta blast, but Balochistan voters still bravely head to polls

A bomb has gone off in Quetta, killing 31 people and injuring 32 others. The numbers are climbing but people still turned out to vote.
One of the deceased is a police official. It took place in Bhoosa Mandi. It is said to be a suicide bomber, who came on foot. He was said to be between 25 and 27 years old.
An emergency has been imposed in Quetta's Civil hospital.
The target in Quetta was the SHO. The commissioner came back from the bomb site with horrific stories. It appears that the bomb-makers are now using something other than regular explosive materials.
More than 18 injured are in a critical condition
Seven bodies have been brought to the Civil Hospital.
The public is not being allowed at the site as law enforcers have cordoned the area off.
Analyst Huma Baqai says that this was an attempt to affect the democratic process in Pakistan.
