Thousands of litres of oil spilled on the National Highway after tanker overturns

An oil tanker overturned on the National Highway near Okara, resulting in thousands of litres of oil spilling onto the road.

The tanker was speeding on the National Highway on Monday morning and overturned. After the accident, the police sealed a one-metre section of the road.

According to the DCO, the accident occurred because the driver fell asleep at the wheel. The police took the driver and a cleaner into custody.
