President of the Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, has advised former president Pervez Musharraf not to return to Pakistan.
“It’s my free advice to Musharraf that he should not return to the country,” Rasheed said while speaking to the media after offering Eid prayers in Rawalpindi.
The AML leader, commenting on the 2018 general elections, said that he prays that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan is elected.
Rasheed expressed his optimism of securing at least 0.1 million votes in the 2018 elections.
He claimed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was punished for money laundering. He added, “I am not a money launderer."
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz whose condition in London sent alarm bells ringing.
