"Nawaz Sharif had to run the country too, which is why Pervaiz Rashid was sacked. It was decided in the first three months of this government to sack him," he said while speaking exclusively to SAMAA TV.
"It was because of Nawaz Sharif's strategy that he was the prime minister for so long," he said. "Had he not taken the country forward, Gwadar projects and CPEC would not have been operational."
He said that when Nawaz was the prime minister, a notification from the PM Office had been rejected.
