KARACHI: Ex-premier Nawaz Sharif has reached Karachi for a two-day visit on Thursday, Samaa reported.

This is his first visit to Sindh's capital since being disqualified as the prime minister by the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) in the Panama Papers Case.

Upon his arrival, large number of party workers and supporters gathered at Karachi Airport to welcome the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief.

He will lead a rally and address a public meeting on Thursday and will also chair a session of PML-N’s provincial executive committee on Thursday afternoon.

The former prime minister will also address traders and industrialists in the night.

He will attend a seminar regarding the future of democracy in Pakistan on Friday.

It is pertinent to mention that the former PM is expected to attend a hearing in the accountability court on Friday as well.
