Nawaz Sharif reaches Accountability Court for Avenfield case hearing

ISLMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and Captain (rted.) Safdar reached Accountability Court for hearing of Avenfiled supplementary corruption reference.

In today’s hearing, Judge Muhammed Bashir will record the statement of two witnesses living abroad – Forensic expert Robert Radley and Raja Akhtar – through via videolink.

Two screens have been put in place at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court for recording of the statements. The two witnesses will get their statements recorded at Pakistan’s High Commission.

It is pertinent to note here that the NAB held Nawaz Sharif directly guilty in Avenfield Properties reference. –Samaa
