ISLAMABAD: Following Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, three other party leaders appeared before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday in case regarding attack on the Parliament and the PTV.

The local court granted the bails to three PTI leaders - Shireen Mazari, Arif Alvi and Asad Umar-- on the submission of surety bonds worth Rs.100,000 each.

The court approved their request to submit the surety bond for their bail and stopped the police from arresting them.

The ATC ordered all of them to appear before the court on January 23.

In an earlier court hearing on January 2, PTI chief Imran Khan also was granted pre-arrest bail in the 2014 PTV attack case.

After his hearing, Imran Khan had said that it had been proven that he was not a terrorist. Imran further said that he was battling a mafia and the cases were a result of their influence.

“If I enter into a compromise with this mafia, all cases against me would be taken back,” he said.

Imran Khan said that he had been proven ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’ by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in its earlier judgment as well.

“I handed over to the court documents that dated back 40 years to prove my innocence,” he said.
