PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been a staunch critic of Pakistan’s decision to join the US-led war against terrorism. But an old video appears to suggest that the cricketer-turned-politician had put his weight behind Pervez Musharraf’s foreign policy following 9/11 attacks.

“Circumstances that Pakistan faced today bearing in mind that how the world’s opinion has changed since Sept 11 attacks, and then given the way India has exploited the events of December 13 against Pakistan, I don’t think that the president had much choice. You know I think that under the circumstances this is the best he could have done,” says Khan in an interview to US news agency AP.
