Shehbaz Sharif inspects Orange Line progress

LAHORE: One day after the Orange Line train scheme was given the green signal by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at the construction site of the project to oversee it personally.

According to details, Shehbaz traveled from the Thokar Niaz Baig-Jain Mandir route and spoke to workers who were working on the Orange Line train project.

The chief minister also inspected the underground station and advised workers to work hard in order to complete the project in time so as to make up for its delay.

"We will make up for the delay in the Orange Line project through hard work, dedication and passion," he said while speaking to contractors and workers.

He said that the government would put all its efforts into the timely completion of the project.
