ISLAMABAD: Former president of Pakistan General (retd) Pervez Musharraf lashed out at Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said that both parties have to be defeated in 2018 general elections, Samaa reported.

In his statements, the founder of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) said that PPP and PML-N both have looted the country.

He added that the two parties have governed the country four times each and emptied the national exchequer.

"Both have to be defeated in the next elections," the former president said.

The former army chief announced that he will return to Pakistan soon.
