KARACHI: The rising political temperature has already begun to fray tempers as Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is all set to flex its political muscle at Hyderabad's Akbari ground today (Friday).
The preparations for the public gathering have been completed with stage set and chairs laid at the venue at Akbari Ground of Hyderabad.
Speaking to journalists, MQM-P leader Dr Farooq Sattar claimed that today’s rally will afresh prove the party’s commanding position in the urban Sindh.
"The success of our public gathering is as certain as sunset and sunrise. We have sorted out all our limitations. Today we are facing no allegations," he added.
Firing broadside at the MQM-P leader, Pakistan Sarzameen Party leader Mustafa Kamal taunted that Sattar has turned the party into 'Mummy Qaumi Movement'.
Kamal also ridiculed the claims of Sattar regarding the gathering of MQM-P, saying he calls some thousands people as millions.
The PSP leader also questioned, “Is it right to convene a public rally with the people’s money?”
Farooq Sattar said he will welcome Kamal if he traces his steps back into the MQM-P as a worker. –Samaa
