KARACHI: At least 15 people were wounded when a gas pipeline exploded in Karachi on Wednesday, SAMAA reported.

The explosion took place in a busy Site area.

According to reports, three auto rickshaws parked near the blast site caught fire.

Those injured in the explosion were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical aid.

Officials of Sui Southern Gas Pipleline (SSGP) were immediately called in to assess the damage and carry out the repair work. - SAMAA
