NAB requests Accountability Court to issue non-bailable arrest warrant for Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Tuesday requested the Accountability Court hearing a case regarding assets beyond the known sources of income to issue non-bailable arrest warrant for Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar who familed to appear before the court today.

Ishaq Dar is staying in London on medical grounds.

The counsels of the federal minister produced his medical report before the court and requested the court to exempt their client from personal appearance as he is unable to move around.

Commenting on the letter, NAB prosecutor said it seems to be from a doctor of certain private clinic, adding, the medical certificate should have come from London High Commission and the foreign ministry.

However, the court ordered to get the medical certificate confirmed. –SAMAA
