Moderate earthquake jolts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale jolted parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday evening, leaving people terrified.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PMDA) the epicenter of the earthquake was located near Parachinar and had a depth of 35 kilometers.

There is no report of any damages due to the quake.

According to reports, tremors were felt in Peshawar, Swat and some other cities. SAMAA
