Islamabad sit in protest case

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Monday has ordered Federal Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal to appear in the court in 15 minutes for the hearing of Faizabad sit in case, Samaa reported.

According to details, IHC Judge Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the Faizabad Interchange sit in case on Monday.

In the hearing, Deputy Attorney General Sohail Mahmood informed the court that the minister was awake the whole night on which Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui asked what he was doing at that time.

The deputy attorney general also told the court that the protesters and government have reached an agreement to end the sit in.

The bench ordered him to inform the court about the details of the agreement.

The lawyer stated that Iqbal can speak about the agreement between the protesters and the government after which the bench summoned him for the hearing.
