RAWALPINDI: Government of Pakistan has released 68 Indian fishermen, who were arrested for violating territorial waters.


Representatives of Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) handed over the Indian nationals to Indian Border Security Force at Joint Check Post Wahga, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement issued here on Monday.

The released Indian prisoners thanked Pakistan government and appreciated the efforts and arrangements made by Pakistan Rangers Punjab for their timely and smooth departure. - Samaa
