LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz met Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamaz Shehbaz in Lahore on Tuesday to dispel rumours that there were differences between the Sharif family.
According to details, Maryam Nawaz met Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz to discuss important matters pertaining to the political party and the current situation of the country.
Maryam, Shehbaz and Hamza decided to adopt a unified stance with regard to the NAB reference cases against Sharif family and important matters pertaining to the party.
According to sources, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz and Shehbaz Sharif used to meet on a regular basis in the presence of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif before the elections of NA-120.
However, after the by-elections were won and Hamza Shehbaz had moved out of the country for a-month-and-a-half, the three could not meet.
Hence, the meeting had been arranged to discuss issues and to dispel the image that there was friction between important members of the Sharif family.
