Heat conditions to continue in Karachi till Sunday

KARACHI: With no letup in prevailing spell of hot weather in Karachi, the Met Office has predicted that mercury on the scale will continue to remain up till Sunday (Oct 22). KARACHI: With no letup in prevailing spell of hot weather in Karachi, the Met Office has predicted that mercury on the scale will continue to remain up till Sunday (Oct 22).

Foggy conditions are also likely to continue in Karachi early morning.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next two days, Met Office said, adding that rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Malakand division, Hazara Division, upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Yesterday, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, with no rainfall recorded anywhere.

Yesterday’s maximum temperature was recorded 41°C in Turbat (Balochistan) and Mithi (Tharparkar). – Samaa
