ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday has decided to release 68 Indian prisoners (fishermen) to be repatriated via Wahga Border as a goodwill gesture on humanitarian grounds.

These fishermen were held for inadvertently crossing into Pakistani waters while earlier Pakistan had also released two Indian civil prisoners on October 13, said a statement issued by Foreign Office.

Pakistan has always maintained that humanitarian issues should be facilitated and not politicized. –APP
