ISLAMABAD: Hussain Nawaz, the son of ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said that his mother  Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was admitted to hospital again in London after her health worsened.

In an exclusive talk with SAMAA on Wednesday, Hussain Nawaz said that he had told his father about the condition of his mother.

He appealed to the nation to pray for his mother's speedy recovery.

Hussain Nawaz also hinted that Nawaz Sharif might travel back to London to be with his ailing wife.

"I haven't yet received any program for my father's arrival in London but obviously he will be coming here inshahullah under these circumstances," Hussain told SAMAA.

In a Twitter message, Maryam Nawaz said that her mother was taken and admitted to the hospital again late last night.

"Doctors are trying to stabilise her condition. Request for prayers," she added.

Meanwhile, the former premier visited the British consulate in Lahore and got his UK's visa extended.

Sources say that Nawaz Sharif is likely to travel to London on Thursday.
