Islamabad: “Eid-ul-Azha symbolizes the willingness to sacrifice for a cause; let us therefore on this day pledge to live and strive for a cause larger than one’s own self.

This has been stated by former President Asif Ali Zardari in his Eid ul Azha message.

Mr. Zardari also felicitated the Muslims throughout the world and particularly those in Pakistan on this occasion..

“On this occasion I also call upon my countrymen to remember those who have laid down their lives so that we can live to celebrate this Eid,” Zardari said.

“We owe a deep debt of gratitude to them, he said.”

“And let us also not forget the less fortunate ones, shackled by abysmal poverty, deprivations and misfortunes, are deprived of true joy, he said in the message.”

May the blessings of Eid ul Azha remain with you all.
