ISLAMABAD: Prominent PTI leader Andaleeb Abbas recorded a video message on Wednesday in which she demanded Ayesha Gulalai apologise to the female members of the party.

"You said that no respectable woman can remain in PTI," she said. "Are we not women who have integrity?" she asked.

Andaleeb Abbas defended PTI chairman Imran Khan, stating that she had been in the party for a long time and never once had the cricketer-turned-politician misbehaved with her or any other female member.

Abbas also wondered why Gulalai had not raised the issue earlier and still hadn't resigned from the Member of National Assembly seat.

"Where was your respect four years ago?" she asked. "As a woman I am ashamed that she has said such nasty things about us. I demand she apologise to us," she added.
