RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Awami Muslim League (AML) will flex its political muscle at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh on Sunday.

The two parties will jointly stage a public meeting together at the garrison-city for the first time after Supreme Court of Pakistan announced the verdict of Panama Case.

Banners of Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, chiefs of PTI and AML respectively, have been placed across Rawalpindi.

Ahmed stated that today's public meeting will leave their rivals astounded.

Imran Khan, Sheikh Rasheed and other leaders will address the gathering at Liaquat Bagh.

PTI has sought security for the public meeting. Provincial assembly member Arif Abbasi, in his letter, asked the city administration to provide security for the rally.

The public meeting will begin at 06.00 pm and will end at midnight.
