LONDON: Malala Yousafzai has gotten admission to the prestigious University of Oxford.

The seat at the prestigious varsity was confirmed after she cleared her A-Level examinations.

Pakistan’s Nobel Peace Prize winner tweeted, “So excited to go to Oxford!! Well done to all A-level students – the hardest year. Best wishes for life ahead!”

She will be studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics – the same courses which former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

Malala Yousafzai shot to fame after Taliban shot her in October 2012 over promoting education in Swat.

After her treatment abroad, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her contribution towards education.
