VIENNA: Chairman National Accountability Bureau, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said eradication of corruption is top priority of the Bureau.
Addressing the International Conference on Anti-Corruption in Vienna, he said NAB is committed to recover looted money from the corrupt and deposit it in the national exchequer.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said prevention of corruption is integral component for implementation of provision of the United Nations Convention Against corruption.
He said during the tenure of present management, NAB has recovered fifty billion rupees which is a record achievement.
He said that NAB’s conviction ratio is about seventy five percent which is also an exemplary achievement for any Anti-corruption agency in Pakistan. –SAMAA/APP
