QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived at Quetta on Sunday.
According to a press release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Bajwa will be briefed about the recent terror attack in Pishin,
He will also visit the injured at the hospital.
ISPR further stated that the army chief will attend the funeral prayers of the martyrs.
Sources said that that a meeting will be chaired regarding the initiation of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad on a vast scale.
It should be noted that 15 people including eight Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in the Quetta blast at Pishin Stop on Saturday.
The huge intensity of the explosion smashed windscreens of many vehicles parked near the blast site. Two cars, rickshaws and motorcycles caught fire after the blast.
Reports stated that Independence Day celebrations were under way at nearby Ayub Stadium when the blast occurred.
