RAWALPINDI: India once again violated its ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC) as its border forces resorted to shelling which ultimately killed one person, according to the ISPR.

According to details, India resorted to unprovoked shelling at Chirikot sector which claimed the life of a 70-year-old citizen. Pakistan responded back with force, silencing the Indian guns with a befitting reply.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited troops along LOC in Muzaffarabad Sector.

The COAS was given detailed briefing by the local Commander regarding operational situation, Indian ceasefire violations and response by Pakistani troops, according to ISPR.

While interacting with troops, COAS appreciated their state of operational readiness, exemplary high morale and motivation for fulfillment of assigned mission.

Troops unreservedly shared with COAS their feelings about Indian atrocities and firing targeting innocent civilians and pledged that no Indian misadventure shall go without a befitting response.
