ISLAMABAD: Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Wednesday that the perpetrators of the Parachinar blast would be brought to justice and said that for Pakistan Army, every martyr/injured was equal regardless of sect or ethnicity.

According to details, the army chief said that the terrorist attack that took place in Parachinar a couple of days ago was a colossal loss. He said that the perpetrators of the attack would be brought to book and the families of victims would be compensated for their loss without any form of discrimination.

The ISPR press released stated that the army chief also met with the ulemas of various sects and said that it did not matter which sect the martyrs or the injured belonged to. They held equal importance and significance for Pakistan Army.

“We are all Muslims and Pakistanis. We have regard for the religious rights of all minorities as well,” said General Bajwa.

“COAS has interacted with religious clergy of all sects over the last few days for their positive involvement in defeating this ongoing sinister campaign. It is assured that those responsible for Parachinar incidents shall be brought to law and victims will be compensated without any discrimination,” read the ISPR press release.

“Alhamdulillah, We have brought security situation in country including FATA under control and shall not allow its regression at any cost” COAS said.

The Chief Of Army Staff said that enemies of the state and hostile agencies were trying to fan sectarian violence in the country. He urged the nation to be aware of a malicious campaign being run on social media to instigate ethnic and sectarian hate.

General Bajwa said that Pakistan Army was keeping a close watch over all such activities.
