ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday strongly condemned the ruling PML-N for "attacking a convention of lawyers" in Lahore.
In a message on Twitter, Imran Khan said that PML-N lawyers led by Naseer Bhutto attacked the convention held by Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Sharif in the wake of Panama Leaks verdict.
He said his party stands firmly with the lawyers and their movement.
"Strongly condemn attack by PMLN lawyers, led by Naseer Bhutta, on Lawyers Convention hosted by LHCBA & locking up Pres," Khan said.
"Same PMLN tactics of hooliganism that led to attack on Supreme Court used again. Using goons for violence against opponents/institutions hallmark of PML-N," he added. - SAMAA
