ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has banned use of social media websites in its offices across the country, Samaa reported.

According to officials, the ECP staff, including in provincial and on-field offices, has been banned from using Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

ECP spokesman said the decision has been taken in the wake possible cyber attacks on the election commission’s computer network in Pakistan. – Samaa
