ISLAMABAD: Search is ongoing for the ex-Pakistan Army officer who went missing in Nepal, Samaa reported on Sunday.
According to details, Lieutenant Colonel (retd.) Habib Zahir was called for a job interview in Nepal for a company named Strategic Solution.
The email for the job interview was sent by a person named Mark Thompson who is a Senior Recruiter at the company.
He was also given a business class ticket and residence by the company.
Zahir reached Oman on 5th April and arrived in Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu on 6th April. He left for the city of Lumbini, which is just five kilometres away from India, on the same day.
He mysteriously disappeared after talking with his family on April 6th.
Zahir’s family members informed the concerned family members regarding the issue and the investigation is underway.
Interestingly, the host server of Strategic Solutions’ website is located in India whereas the Thompson’s mobile phone number also turned out to be fake.
