Karachi: Protest led by PTI leaders at Clifton cantonment board ends

KARACHI: The protest led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers outside the office of Karachi Cantonment Board (KCB) at Clifton - over non provision of civic facilities -ended on Friday, Samaa reported.

The protesters staged by the residents of Defence area and led by PTI’s Khurram Sher Zaman and Arif Alvi ended after successful negotiations with the president and vice-president of the cantonment board.

Alvi stated that they have been staging a peaceful protest since Thursday.

The protesters have hinted that they will take to the streets once again if the authorities do not fulfill their promises.
