KARACHI: Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Major General Mohammad Saeed has said that extortion will not be allowed to take root in Karachi again.

Sindh Rangers chief made the statement while addressing on-duty officers and soldiers in different sectors.

He added extortion is intolerable in every way.

DG Rangers said that the criminals involved in collecting extortion will not be spared.

Meanwhile, the para-military troops arrested a man named Shahid involved in collecting extortion money from a restaurant owner from Garden area of Karachi.

He had demanded Rs. 2 million from the restaurant owner.
