WASHINGTON: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar reached United States to take part in the annual International Monetary Fund (IMF) conference, Samaa reported on Friday.
According to details, the finance minister will represent Pakistan in the conference scheduled to take place from April 21st to April 23rd 2017 in Washington.
He is also set to meet leaders from different countries and IMF officials on the sidelines of the yearly moot.
It should be noted that the annual conferences are designed to foster creative dialogue among the private sector, government delegates and senior Bank and IMF officials.
They bring such a large number of member country officials together, they provide opportunities for consultations large and small, formal and informal.
Numerous seminars are held in conjunction with the meetings, including seminars conducted by staff members for members of the press.
