ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan drew a lot of criticism across social media over his insulting remarks for foreign players.

The derogatory remarks came to surface late Monday night in the wake of Pakistan Super League (PSL2) final held in Lahore.

In the video that went viral on social media, Imran Khan appears to be conducting an intra-party meeting.

He is seen as saying, “I don’t know even the name of any of these so-called foreign players. It seems they were just picked up from anywhere like Africa. And, they are called foreign players.”

The leaked remarks earned Imran Khan a lot of carping censure across the social media landscape. However, the Khan’s supporters came in with robust reactions to fend for him.
