LONDON: Rich colors of Pakistani culture went into full-on display on roads in London to welcome the new year 2017.
A contingent of Pakistani artistes for the first time became part of the conventional parade taken out in connection with New Year celebrations in British capital.
Pakistan origin Rani Taj was the focus of people’s attention in the parade.
Performance of the Pakistan Segment at the London New Year’s Day Parade received thunderous applause from thousands of spectators lined up on both sides of the Parade route.
The Pakistan Segment featured horse dance, drum beating, regional music, colourful dresses, Kalash dance and Qawwali performance.
