Zardari assures JI Ameer to take back forced conversion bill

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq and said that Sindh government would take back forced conversion bill. KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq and said that Sindh government would take back forced conversion bill.

According to JI spokesman, the former president Asif Zardari said that PPP would repeal forced conversion bill in the Sindh Assembly. Zardari also discussed the current political situation including Panama Leaks with JI Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq.

JI Ameer welcomed the decision of Zardari and said that the bill on forced conversions that provincial assembly had passed was erroneous.

Siraj said that Zardari assured the government would hold consultations before making regulations. - Samaa
