DERA GHAZI KHAN: Eight terrorists belonging to some outlawed organization were killed in a combing operation carried out by law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in a tribal area of DG Khan, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials said on Thursday night.

The officials said that the terrorists were planning to attack some sensitive installation when they were killed in the combing operation in Tomiwala tribal village near Sakhi Sarwar. Three terrorists, however, managed to escape, and the law enforcers were chasing them.

Three hand grenades, an automatic rifle and four pistols were recovered from their possession. Officials said that the process to identify the terrorists was in progress. - Samaa
