Rainfall likely in areas of Pakistan on second Eid day

ISLAMABAD: Thundershowers and light rains have been predicted for today in the areas of Rawalpindi, Lahore, Malakand and Azad Kashmir, according to the Meterological Department officials. ISLAMABAD: Thundershowers and light rains have been predicted for today in the areas of Rawalpindi, Lahore, Malakand and Azad Kashmir, according to the Meterological Department officials.

Areas in Quetta, Zhob and Qalaat may also receive rains, Samaa reported.

According to the Met Dept. officials, rains seem likely in the next 24 hours in areas of Punjab including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha as well as Peshawar, Hazara, Mardan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Light rains may hit certain areas OF Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Sibi and Qalaat.

Areas in Khuzdar, Lahore, Rawalpindi have already received rain accompanied with lightning. Khuzdar received 18mm whereas Rawalpindi received 8mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. --SAMAA
