LONDON: Condemning the resolution adopted by Sindh Assembly against Altaf Hussain on Wednesday, London leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) dissolved its administrative structure and organizational set-up.
The decision was taken by the MQM’s London leadership.
A statement issued by MQM London said Altaf Hussain gas handed over all his powers to Nadeem Nusrat, a day he was axed from MQM’s Rabita Committee by MQM Pakistan.
In his statement, Nadeem Nusrat called the Sindh Assembly’s resolution against MQM founder as shameful.
“MQM was one and will always remain so,” Nadeem Nusrat said.
All organizational set –up would be set up again, he said, urging his supporters and sympathizers in Karachi and other parts of the world to endorse the decisions of London chapter.
Nusrat said that MQM’s members of the assembly were elected in the name of party’s founder and that they should stand down on moral grounds. – SAMAA
