MULTAN: Ali Haider Gilani, a son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, on Sunday said that he penning down a book detailing his ordeal on his three-year long captivity.
Addressing a press conference in Multan, Gillani said that he had informed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif about his abductors and their facilitators.
He revealed that those who kidnapped him and acted as facilitators were from Punjab.
Gilani recalled he had gone out after hearing gun shots and subsequently was kidnapped. He added that he was taken to Faisalabad by his kidnappers.
He also paid tributes to the security guards who were gunned down resisting his kidnappers.
Regarding law and order situation, Gilani said that there had been marked improvement in law and order situation of the country. He called for jointly fighting the war against terrorism.
It is to be mentioned here that Ali Haider Gilani was kidnapped in 2013 by Al Qaeda from Multan and was released earlier this year after an operation in Afghanistan.
