QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri Monday blamed Indian spy agency RAW for Quetta bombing that killed at least 54 people and injuring scores of others.

Talking to Samaa, Zehri said that there are evidences that RAW is directly involved in the attack.

Announcing three-day mourning for the victims of the attack, the Balochistan CM said that the terrorists would be taken to task.

He said that he has convened a high-level meeting regarding law and order situation.

“No one attacks hospitals in war, the terrorists didn’t even spare them,” he said, adding that under a planned conspiracy at first President of Balochistan Bar Association was gunned down after which a suicide attack was carried out on the mourners.

Earlier, 54 people were killed and dozens wounded when a bomb ripped through a crowd of mourners at a hospital in Quetta.

Video footage showed bodies strewn on the ground, some still smoking, among pools of blood and shattered glass as shocked survivors cried and comforted one another.

Many of the dead appeared to be wearing black suits and ties. A large burn mark against white brick appeared to indicate where the bomb went off. –Samaa
