PARIS: President of France François Hollande has condemned Monday’s suicide attack on civil hospital Quetta that left 70 people dead, most of them lawyers.

“The President of the Republic condemns this heinous act and expresses full solidarity of France to the people of Pakistan, already badly hit by the terrible attack in Lahore in March,” said a statement.

Another statement by the Deputy Spokesperson of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development said “we express our condolences to the families and friends of the victims. France assures Pakistan of its solidarity in the fight against terrorism.” – Samaa
