QUETTA: Unknown gunmen shot and killed a Frontier Corps personnel and left another injured in Quetta on Friday.

The attack happened on busy Saryab Road in the Balochistan capital.

In retaliatory fire, one attacker was reportedly killed.

This comes a day after six Levies men embraced martyrdom in an ambush on their convoy in Jiwani town of Gwadar district.

A Tehsidar was among the injured.

Nobody claimed responsibility for the attack, but suspicions are likely to fall on Baloch insurgents. – SAMAA
