Rabia death: Lahore police seeks mobile phone data

LAHORE: The body of a young woman recovered from a local hotel in Lahore on Friday was handed over to her heirs after completion of post-mortem on Saturday.

According to initial postmortem report, Rabia received one bullet in her head.

Police have sent an application to the mobile phone company for getting her calls data so that it could be ascertained why she had come to the hotel.

According to the police, the young woman went to washroom straight from passing the lobby of the hotel. Later, the hotel administration heard the sound of a fire.

The security men rushed to the site and found the girl shot dead in washroom. She was rushed to a local hospital immediately, but doctors pronounced her dead.

Police have registered a case against unidentified person on the report of Faisal, the brother of the deceased.- SAMAA/AGENCIES
