Envisioning Karachi to be built up in the fashion of Paris and London, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah ordered the city administration to clear the city of all stinking rubbish festering nearly in every locality of the metropolis since ages.

Wadday Saeen is quite proficient in dreaming BIG. This time round, he dreamed a clean and water-washed Karachi. The people here are grateful to him that in the first place, he dreamed for dirt-free and sparkling Karachi.

However, Karachiites were rather skeptical about the actualization of his dream. Far from being a dream come true, his desire turned out to be a wishful thinking.

He ordered, ‘Karachi should be cleared of all rubbish within three days.’ However, three days lapsed but not a single part of Karachi was cleaned thoroughly.

SAMAA invites its viewers and website visitors to send us photographs with details including their name, locality name and with a short message. We will acknowledge your effort.

The residents of Liaquatabad-7 are specially pained having to pass through a tumbledown road. The foul-smelling sewer water is making things even worse.

The underside of nearly all bridges in Karachi are marked with the same sight. This one is from Rashid Minhas Road.

Here are select images from around the mega-city with spectacles of rubbish littering all around the city. No road or street is exception.
