ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has decided to move Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) against TV channels that telecast “wrong news” about his third marriage, Samaa reported.

Condemning the news reports, PTI senior leader Jahangir Khan Tareen said the party would ask PEMRA to take action against those news channels which telecast false news about Imran’s third marriage.

His statement comes hours after some sections of media reported that Imran Khan has tied the knot for the third time.

Imran turned to Twitter to refute the reports, saying whenever he would get married, he would announce and celebrate it publicly.

PTI spokesperson also rejected the reports, calling them “totally wrong”.

“Rumours about IK getting married are totally wrong. He is spending time with his boys in England and will be back in Pakistan on Sunday,” he posted on Twitter.
