Widespread rains forecast next week

ISLAMABAD: Meteorological department predicted that onset of monsoon is very likely in Pakistan during coming week, most probably on Monday/Tuesday on upper parts of the country.

According to a press release, monsoon rains are likely to start from upper parts of the country that will spread towards central and southern parts of the country during the week.

During first spell of monsoon, widespread rains with isolated heavy thundershowers accompanied by strong gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Kashmir.

Scattered rains/dust-thundershowers are also expected in Sindh and Balochistan during the coming week.

Weather Outlook for next 24 hrs:

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during day time. scattered Rain/ Dust-thundershowers is expected in Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Kalat, Makran, D.G Khan and Bahawalpur divisions  while isolated in Sukkar Division during evening- night.

Weather Outlook for Next 48 hrs:

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during day time. scattered Rain/ Dust-thundershowers is expected in Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Kalat, Makran, D.G Khan and Bahawalpur divisions  while isolated in Sukkar, Larkana, Sibbi, Naseerabad Divisions.
