Three terrorists killed in Manghopir raid

KARACHI: Personnel of paramilitary and police forces launched an operation and killed three terrorists in shootout in Karachi area of Manghopir late Friday.

The Rangers spokesman said the raid was launched on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in Manghopir area of Mir Muhammed Goth.

Terrorists opened fire as police personnel and the paratroopers arrived in the area. In the ensuing exchange of gunfire, three saboteurs were gunned down.

Suicide vests, ball bearings, detonators and explosive material were recovered from the extremists.

According to police, the killed terrorists belong to an outlawed organization. The search for the accessories of these terrorists is underway.

Police said the killed terrorists were masterminds of suicide bombings. –SAMAA
